The Manipur Mathematical Society (MMS), established on December 29, 2005, is an academic organization dedicated to the promotion, popularization, and advancement of Mathematics at all levels. Guided by its motto, “Mathematics is for all. Love Mathematics,” the Society strives to cultivate mathematical interest, creativity, and excellence among students, teachers, researchers, and the wider community. Its principal objectives include identifying and nurturing mathematical talents through competitions, quizzes, Mathematical Olympiads, talent search examinations, training programmes, and coaching camps. The Society also seeks to promote mathematical education and research by organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, and Mathematical Congresses at regional, national, and international levels; publishing academic materials, textbooks, newsletters, proceedings, and journals; and encouraging meritorious students through scholarships. The Society is registered under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989 (Manipur Act 1 of 1990), bearing Registration No. 917/M/SR/2025, with its registered office at Room No. 112, Department of Mathematics, Manipur University, Imphal–795003.
